SMS Opt-In and Consent

Last updated: May 2026

This page documents how Zigdale collects, records, and honors SMS opt-in consent for the toll-free messaging number +1 (888) 611-8380, used to follow up with prospects of Bottega Labs, Inc. (Zigdale).

How consent is collected

Zigdale's AI sales agent, "Morgan," places outbound voice calls to prospects who have shown commercial interest in Zigdale's services. During each call, Morgan asks the prospect for explicit verbal consent to send a follow-up SMS message before any SMS is sent.

The standard consent prompt is substantially this:

"Would it be alright if I followed up with a quick text to your number with the booking link and a recap? You can reply STOP anytime to opt out."

If the prospect answers affirmatively (for example: "yes," "sure," "that's fine," "go ahead"), Morgan continues the call. If the prospect declines or does not give an affirmative answer, no SMS is sent.

What gets recorded

For every prospect who gives verbal consent, Zigdale's CRM stores:

  • The full transcript of the call between Morgan and the prospect
  • The timestamp of the consent moment
  • The exact transcript snippet covering Morgan's request and the prospect's affirmative reply
  • The prospect's phone number and the agent build (Morgan version) that placed the call
  • A boolean flag that gates outbound SMS: SMS messages are only delivered to phone numbers with a consent_recorded = true record in the CRM

If a prospect later asks for proof of consent, Zigdale can produce the transcript snippet and timestamp on request.

Honoring opt-out

A prospect can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any Zigdale SMS message, or by replying HELP for assistance. Opt-out and help requests are processed within one business day. Once a prospect opts out, the CRM consent_recorded flag is reversed and no further SMS messages are delivered to that number.

What we do not do

Zigdale does not send SMS messages to phone numbers acquired from purchased lists, scraped from public sources, or otherwise obtained without explicit verbal consent during a Morgan call. Zigdale does not send bulk SMS blasts. Message frequency is limited to scheduling follow-ups and booking-link delivery and varies based on each prospect's stage in the outreach workflow.

Mobile information sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support our services (for example, Twilio Inc. for message delivery, and Zigdale's customer support tooling) is permitted strictly to the extent necessary to provide those services. SMS originator opt-in data and consent records will not be shared with any third parties.
